THE GREAT AMERICAN WASTELAND

The scourge of methamphetamine abuse is a serious problem, among many others…

Here’s an example of the problem in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Good people are trying to make a difference, but there’s been many decades of this drug being available on the streets. The damage that has been done to individuals and society is permanent.

It seems that almost everyone I communicate with is struggling with one or more serious issues in their lives revolving around chemical dependencies, mental health issues, broken relationships, emotional turmoil, psychosis, neurosis, drama and problems, etc.
Claims of “Narcissism” commonly pointed at men actually apply equally to females. Confused, introspective, self obsessed people who appear to be living in a television-induced soap opera.

This is indicative of a demoralized and downtrodden culture.

It’s been said,

“The passing of the Health Maintenance Organization Act represented a significant effect by the US government to, as the (1) NCBI writes, “experiment with organizational change in the structure of the health care delivery system”.

The argument goes something like this here, though one can easily find rebuttals:

For Profit Health Care Was Illegal Until Nixon Changed Everything
