Some people speak of lasers when looking for explanations of anomalous fires and burnt objects.
For example, this car and the one behind it were sitting in an open lot in Maui, surrounded by an acre of dirt, gravel and short grasses. No trees or any other significant fuel sources were present (apart from possible gas in the tanks) that could have generated enough heat to liquefy aluminum or melt automotive safety glass.
