The waves were close to perfection last week up on Scotland’s North coast, and this particular break definitely bears resemblance to some of its tropical cousins – they don’t call it the “Cold Water Nias” for nothing.
And cold it was.. Even though the sun was shining on this particular day, 6mm hooded suits, boots, and gloves were essential to deal with the water temp hovering around 7°C. (44.6°F)
