Charles was one of the more rational voices in a chat where I first met him. Gregarious and good natured, he was always a joy to converse with. He was a generous and caring friend, and I will miss him.

Music, his love of bluegrass, country and 80’s synth-pop was one of his main interests, having met many of the great musicians of the genres, going to many concerts and events. He was always so proud to have met them.

I shared the joy of music with his son Stevie one evening, over video chat. I played some guitar riffs and blew minds 😀
Charles said it was an important and inspirational moment for Steve, for which I am so thankful to have shared.
